Sabbath Rest

I was hoping to go to church on Sunday but it seemed like camp was gonna go on working. It rained all night and was raining in the morning so it seemed like not much would be able to be worked on. Then one of the guys said the bridge was washed out. So we all went over to check it out and sure enough the bridge is still there but the road leading to the bridge has washed away.

God was saying you will have Sabbath rest. But I can't go to church either. So I decided to take a walk along the river and see if there might be a church on this side of the river. It was not to be but I met Ernie who lives at the end of the road and we had a nice chat and I met Bob and his dog Wally. Super cool dog and got to love on him some.

On my hike back I decided to navigate along the river edge. It was challenging at times but super fun. It left good to do some other kind of activity like hiking. Now back at camp and resting for the day. They should be able to fix the road tomorrow, the rain is supposed to stop this afternoon, Lord willing. But as for now we are stuck.
