Joyful Labor

I was too tired to write up my activities from Friday. I finished mucking out the mud from the "basement." It was quite crowded and knew I would have difficulty reaching all the places I needed to reach. I had an idea. The shovels long handle made it difficult to maneuver therefore I will cut it off. Fortunately I found a shovel with a broken handle so I didn't have to feel guilty about cutting a perfectly good shovel (not guilty at all, they have plenty of shovels). Now I can maneuver the shovel under and around the furnace to get the last remaining mud. I was whooped.

After a bit of a rest I checked with Jordan what he wanted me to do. And he said to grab a chainsaw and join the red jeep team cutting trees in a creek bed they needed to redirect. I was off to find the red jeep. I almost turned around because not sure I could find them. I prayed, "Lord if you want me to join them you will have to show me." Around the next bend there they were. The guy in the video was so gracious and helpful. A welcome when joining a team you are not sure your role. I didn't cut down trees like this. We were in there cutting logs that are too long for the excavator to deal with. It is amazing the force of the water and what gets tangled and pressed against each other. He dropped this tree and a few others because they were dead and ready to go.

For some reason I can't get the website program to embed my youtude video so here is the link:
